Following their acclaimed collaborations on ‘Far From Heaven’ and Safe’, Oscar-winner Julianne Moore has reunited with ‘Carol’ director Todd Haynes for the screen adaptation of ‘Hugo’ author Brian Selznick’s novel ‘Wonderstruck’.

Ahead of the New York and Los Angeles cinema release of ‘Wonderstruck’ this Friday 20th October (US nationwide release 10th November), James Kleinmann spoke to lead cast members Julianne Moore, Oakes Fegley, Millicent Simmonds and Jaden Michael exclusively for HeyUGuys.

Julianne takes on the role of silent movie actress Lillian Mayhew in ‘Wonderstruck’ and in the interview discusses the research she did for the character, what it was like to shoot the silent movie footage and what living in New York means to her. Oakes Fegley and Jaden Michael talk about how they spent their downtime on set and who their own movie star idols are, while Millicent Simmonds reveals how she identified with her character and what working with fellow deaf actors on the film was like.

Synopsis: Set in 1920s and 1970s New York, Ben (Oakes Fegley) and Rose (Millicent Simmonds) are children from two different eras who secretly wish their lives were different.
