To mark the theatrical release of Gerard Johnson’s London based crime thriller Hyena, we had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with the leading star Peter Ferdinando, to discuss this very project.

Speaking to us exclusively ahead of the film’s release, Ferdinando discusses what it was like working alongside the director (who also happens to be his cousin) – and of his research for the role, which included taking part in a real life police raid. He also speaks of his character Michael, and the challenge in taking such a flawed antihero, and making them empathetic. Finally, he discusses his forthcoming endeavour, Ben Wheatley’s High-Rise – where he stars alongside Tom Hiddleston, Luke Evans and Sienna Miller.

Hyena is released on March 6th. You can read our interview with fellow cast member Richard Dormer here.
