Hungarian Tron: Legacy Poster Online

2

It would appear that the Disney marketing machine is working across the globe and Kinopoisk.ru (via FirstShowing’s twitterfeed) have posted a brand new Hungarian poster for Tron: Legacy. This latest one sees Beau Garret who plays Jem get her own poster.

It’s nice to see a new image from the movie as most of what we get is just rehash’s of the same thing (see the Italian poster that I posted yesterday) but after speaking with Alex from Firstshowing, he thinks that the black box hanging down her back is the battery pack for the lights on her suit which should really be digitally removed, especially for a poster campaign. It may be part of the suit but I think he’s right. Bit shoddy if that is indeed the case. Anyone else think that she’s just been plonked on to a background?

Tron Legacy stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett, Michael Sheen and is directed by Joseph Kosinski.

Synopsis: TRON: LEGACY is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Qora (OLIVIA WILDE), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

  1. Until you mentioned the black box I hadn’t even noticed it. It’s not as good as some of the other posters for Tron: Legacy, but such is my hunger for all things Tron that I’ll happily accept what I can get.

  2. Oh I definitely mentioned it on twitter… And I said it was crap! 🙂

This poster is just nasty, it looks like it was Photoshopped by an idiot. I really don’t believe this is an official poster, it’s just not possible. They’ve never even used the color green in the entire marketing campaign! Blech.
