Disney+ has released the official trailer for the highly anticipated second season of the critically acclaimed crime drama ‘High Potential,’ which returns to the platform on 17th September 2025 in the UK and Ireland.
Based on the hit French series ‘Haut Potentiel Intellectuel’ (HPI), the show follows Morgan (Kaitlin Olson), a single mom with a brilliant yet unconventional mind, whose extraordinary ability to solve crimes places her in an unlikely partnership with Karadec (Daniel Sunjata), a meticulous, by-the-book detective. Together, they form a mismatched duo whose chemistry drives the series’ blend of sharp wit, emotional depth, and thrilling mystery.
The ensemble cast also features Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot, and Judy Reyes as Selena. Season 2 introduces Steve Howey as Nick Wagner, a series regular whose arrival promises to shake up the dynamics of the investigative team.
Produced by 20th Television, ‘High Potential’ comes from executive producers Drew Goddard and Sarah Esberg of Goddard Textiles, showrunner Todd Harthan, Marc Halsey, and Kaitlin Olson herself.
With new cases, heightened stakes, and unexpected twists, the second season of ‘High Potential’ promises to deliver even more heart, humour, and intrigue when it premieres this autumn.
