The Orange British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards are the most prestigious film related accolades in the UK, with a wealth of talent competing for the coveted prizes.

All eyes will be on the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden this Sunday as the winners are announced amidst a celebration of some truly amazing work in front of and behind the camera.

It has been a stellar year for British film and its stars, and a look at the Best British Film award nominees is evidence of the strength and variety of stories Britain produced last year.

Carey Mulligan and Colin Firth are the focus of Britain’s hopes in the Best Actor and Actress categories respectively, and we’ve got our fingers crossed for Duncan Jones’ Moon to take home a few awards.

This Sunday night HeyUGuys will be reporting live from the Red Carpet as the stars arrive and we’re very pleased to announce that we’ll be reporting from the ceremony itself, courtesy of BestBuy.co.uk.

It is an amazing opportunity to peep behind the Bafta curtain and along with the list of winners we’ll be reporting on how the night goes for the British and what the results mean for the Oscars.
