Yet another piece of promo art from Green Lantern has hit the net (the film is released on the 17th June) but this time, it’s not one of those intergalactic defenders of good.
The film’s villain, Hector Hammond (played by Peter Sarsgaard) takes centre stage here, as revealed in a tweet by Cine Heroes. In the film, Hammond is the son of a senator whose interaction with an alien substance causes him to mutate and develop telepathic and telekinetic abilities.
Sarsgaard is pictured here without his admittedly daft-looking, bulbous forehead, which is predominant in the clips from the trailers. Presumably it grows as his powers get stronger.
