It’s been on the net for the last couple of days that Halo 4 will get an official release date of 6 November. Well, it just so happens that this rumour turns out to be true. HALO 4 WILL BE RELEASED ON TUESDAY 6 NOVEMBER! No doubt with some cheesy name like Cortana Tuesday or Chief Tuesday.

Before you all go into a frenzy of excitement, this is quite an interesting release date as it’s the same month as Call of Duty games are traditionally released. Although there has been no official CoD 4 game announced, it’s about as likely as the sun rising each morning, which could make for some exciting sales wars.

Anyway, Halo 4 is billed as the first story in a  new trilogy from 343 Studios. The new game is set four years after the events of Halo 3 and will see some burning questions answered about the main man Master Chief and his AI Sidekick Cortana

Vice cheese at Microsoft Studios Phil Spencer said: “We are beginning a new saga with Halo 4 and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of Halo games and experiences.”

“Millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step back into the boots of Master Chief, and with Halo 4 leading the charge, we’re confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history.”
