The end of the Glasgow Film Festival is here and with it is Antoneta Kusijanovic’s debut feature, Murina.
Not only is it the closing film of this year’s festival, it also marks the UK premiere.
Winner of the Caméra d’Or at Cannes this year, it is the story of a Julija (Gracija Filipović) who lives on an idyllic Croatian island with her family in a toxic environment with a controlling father.
We sit down with Gracija at the festival to discuss shooting the film, winning the Shooting Stars award at the Berlin International Film Festival, working with Antoneta again and more.
MURINA is released in cinemas on April 8th & will be available on virtual cinema from May 9th
