Goodman’s Moving to the Red State

So the big mystery name that was cast for Kevin Smith’s upcoming horroresque film, Red State, has just been released.  And the winner is none other than the big man himself, John Goodman, who will hopefully be playing some angry villainous redneck like the cyclops in O’Brother Where Art Thou.

In addition to Goodman, the cast of Red State includes Kyle Gallner, Dermot Mulroney, Michael Angarano,  Stephen Root, Michael Parks and Melissa Leo.

Red State has a budget of about million and begins shooting outdoors in LA starting today

A horror film in which a group of misfits encounter fundamentalism gone to the extreme in Middle America.
