Not One but Two Ghostbusters Documentaries Coming Our Way

The new Ghostbusters movie seems to be splitting opinion right down the middle. Where as we’re all very excited that the franchise is getting a third film, the Paul Feig directed version may not be exactly what fans were looking for.

But fear not for we bring good news. As well as Ghostbuster Documentary ‘Cleanin’ Up the Town’ that we featured a little while ago on HeyUGuys, a second documentary will be gracing our screens in the form of Ghostheads which has just been accepted to play at Tribeca Film Festival. It features interviews with the likes of Dan Aykroyd, Ivan Reitman, Sigourney Weaver, Paul Feig (and more) and is directed by Brendan Mertens.

A rough-cut of the movie will be screened on Saturday, April 23^rd at 5:30pm at the Regal Battery Park Cinemas, with a Q&A following the screening. If only we lived that little bit closer!

It’s so great to see film-fans making documentaries of this ilk. We don’t need to say that making a movie is no simple task but it’s so wonderful to see two groups of people making something that we know the fans will love.
