10 controversial moments we want to see in Game of Thrones season 6

3. White Walkers Invade King’s Landing

White Walker 2

So, with no one to protect that all important Wall, the White Walkers making their way toward King’s Landing would be an unexpected and exciting journey to follow, especially if it culminates with these mysterious baddies invading that iconic location at the end of the season.

Something like this happening could be what’s needed to unite Westeros before we learn which character takes the Iron Throne, and it would certainly spice things up down there considering how dull the whole storyline revolving around the super religious Sparrows has been.

It’s kind of tricky to picture the White Walkers down south, and that’s what makes this such a potentially awesome direction to take things in as their invasion progresses.

  1. If the R+L=J theory is meant to pan out, what better way to demonstrate Jon is a Targaryen than to have him link up with the Fire Priestess?

Regardless, I don’t see Jon or Dany’s respective stories ending in such a fashion. Nor Tyrion’s, for that matter. Though we’ve been fooled by this before (Ned Stark, Robb Stark, etc.), all three seem so integral to the plot that having them disappear or die would derail it completely.

No mention of Ser Jorah? What of his eventual change into a Stoneman?

  2. About to watch the first episode of Season 6 so we’ll see whether Jon Snow does come back. I have a feeling it’ll be as a white walker or a Bobby Ewing shower scene :). Showing my age!
