We last met the Christian rock music duo For King & Country when they released the heartfelt Unsung Hero, an autobiographical film about their family’s struggle to make ends meet after moving from Australia to the US in the ’90s.
This festive season, the Grammy-winning duo will be bringing their acclaimed holiday concert film, A Drummer Boy Christmas LIVE, to cinemas across the UK and Ireland for a one-night-only event on 12th December 2024. The event promises an immersive experience of music, celebration, and the spirit of Christmas, showcasing the brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone’s reimagined Christmas classics, including their iconic rendition of the iconic Little Drummer Boy.
Filmed during their 2022 Christmas tour, the performance features spectacular visuals, a powerful orchestra, and their signature fusion of pop, rock, and orchestral sounds. With over a billion global streams and four Grammy Awards, the duo continues to captivate fans with their dynamic performances and uplifting lyrics.
In an interview with HeyUGuys spoke to the duo expressed their excitement about sharing the holiday magic with UK and Irish audiences through this cinematic event, designed to unite and inspire. They also shared the news of a one-off concert at the O2 in London on the 11th of December.
