We have a month to go before Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, the sequel to 2006’s successful survival-horror video game adaptation, hits the big screen in time for Halloween, and we’ve seen a handful of things already to get the adrenaline flowing.

The trailer hit back in the summer, and now the first TV spot has debuted over at CraveOnline.

“Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.”

Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane) is behind the camera for the sequel, directing from his own script, with Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Sean Bean, Carrie-Anne Moss, Radha Mitchell, and Malcolm McDowell leading quite the impressive cast.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D will be hitting theatres the weekend before Halloween in the US on 26th October, and on Halloween itself here in the UK, on 31st October. You have a month to get ready. Here’s the new TV spot to give you a taste of the horrors and thrills in store. Enjoy.
