We got our first look at Gerard Butler in Playing for Keeps alongside his supporting female leads, Jessica Biel, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Judy Greer back in November last year, when it was originally called Playing the Field.

Now the first trailer and poster for the re-titled film have made their way online, alongside a few new images of Butler, Biel, and Zeta-Jones.

“A charming, down-on-his luck former soccer star returns home to put his life back together. Looking for a way to rebuild his relationship with his son, he gets roped into coaching the boy’s soccer team. But his attempts to finally become an “adult” are met with hilarious challenges from the attractive “soccer moms” who pursue him at every turn.”

Gabriele Muccino (Seven Pounds, The Pursuit of Happyness) is directing from a script by Robbie Fox (So I Married an Axe Murderer), with Uma Thurman, Dennis Quaid, and Judy Greer completing the supporting cast nicely.

Playing for Keeps will be released in the US on 7th December, amongst a heavy season of awards contenders, before heading to the UK a little later on 1st February. As usual with this first poster and the new images, you can click to enlarge.
