After taking the Paranormal Activity franchise to its biggest ever box office taking with the third instalment last Halloween, co-directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are back behind the camera for Paranormal Activity 4 once more this October to bring you more reasons to be terrified of the dark.

We caught the first teaser for the film earlier in the week, and now the first trailer has been released and it gives us an idea of what to expect.

Joost and Schulman are directing from a script by Zack Estrin (Charmed, Prison Break), continuing on from Oren Peli’s original 2009 mammoth success, and Katie Featherston is set to return once more, alongside Dianna Agron (Glee, I Am Number Four).

Paranormal Activity 4 will be released on 19th October in the UK and US, and will no doubt be one of the most promising horrors in the prime-time slots around Halloween.
