Produced by Marvel Television, ABC Studios, and Netflix, Daredevil follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

If you could only use two words to describe this first trailer for Daredevil, “Dark” and “Gritty” certainly spring to mind. It looks a lot more grounded than other Marvel Studios project, but that’s sort of the point. Daredevil is a street level hero who fights gangsters and criminals (and some costumed baddies of course).
