The debut trailer for Ferdinand has bulldozed its way onto the net… no this isn’t a documentary on Ex-Footballer Rio Ferdinand but a brand new animation centring on the adventure of a Bull from 20th Century Fox.

Inspired by the beloved book “The Story of Ferdinand” by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson, Ferdinand tells the story of a bull that is softer than Andrex toilet paper. The trailer includes scenes of Ferdinand tiptoeing his way through a china shop – hence the phrase bull in a china shop – trying not to knock over plates and cups with his large frame and spectacularly failing to giving mouth to mouth resuscitation to a rabbit after he almost kills it during target practice with his fellow heard looking on unimpressed.

Directed by the director of “Rio” Carlos Saldanha and has an all-star cast in Wrestler turned actor John Cena, Kate McKinnon (Ghostbusters, SNL), David Tennant (Doctor Who, Broadchurch), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones Diary, Miranda), Gina Rodriguez (Deepwater Horizon, Jane The Virgin) and Anthony Anderson (The Departed, Black-ish).
