To celebrate the release of the second season of Sex Education, which arrives this week to Netflix, we sat down with some of its cast to see what sort of shocks and surprises we can expect from the sophomore series.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with stars Asa Butterfield (Otis), Emma Mackay (Maeve), Ncuti Gatwa (Eric), Connor Swindells (Adam), Kedar Williams-Stirling (Jackson), Tanya Reynolds (Lily) and Patricia Allison (Ola) to chat all things season two, including the difficulties of doing a second season, the shows impact on its far-reaching audience both young and old, the evolution of their characters and their stories, and the lessons they have learned from some of its seasoned cast members, particularly Gillian Anderson, who plays Otis’ sex therapist mum, Dr Jean F. Milburn.
