George Nolfi’s big screen adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s Adjustment Team, renamed as the Orewellian The Adjustment Bureau, was a far better film than was expected with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt running rings around logic and destiny in a film which rarely misses a beat.

The film is out on Blu-ray and DVD on the 4th of July and we’ve been given a sneak peek at an extended scene with Matt Damon learning the true nature of behatted bureau from Terence Stamp’s mercurial Thompson. What is added to the scene is a brief rundown of how the bureau have ineracted with history in the past and it’s a nice moment, giving the scene a little extra context.

Obviously it’s a spoiler if you haven’t seen it, so if you’re waiting for your appointment with The Adjustment Bureau, wait a week and buy the film, it comes recommended.
