Exclusive: First Trailer and New Poster Released for UFO

21

Here’s your first look at footage from brand new British independent movie UFO as we debut the very first trailer to the world!

UFO stars Bianca Bree in her first major film role alongside Sean Brosnan, Julian Glover, Simon Phillips, Sean Pertwee, Andrew Shim, Jazz Lintott, Peter Barratt, Forbes KB and Maya Grant. There’s also a chap who appears towards the end of the trailer that you may have heard of with the name Jean Claude Van Damme!

As well as the trailer, we’ve also got another new poster for you to join the one we put up over a year ago, both of which I absolutely love! The scale of the film looks epic and I can’t wait to see it in it’s finished form.

Dominic Burns takes the helm as director in the movie which we hope is set to hit cinema screens late 2012 / early 2013. Scroll down and check out the trailer (or click the poster to enlarge) and let us know your thoughts on both in the comments section below.

It started with a blackout, all power and communications down. Hours later city sized UFO’s invade the world’s skies. Then the war began… Five friends attempt to navigate their way to survival amidst deteriorating chaos as the world descends into terror and anarchy during an alien invasion and interstellar war.

  1. Looks like shit… Look at the CGI hahahah. Stay away from CGI when you don’t have a decent budget.. From the trailer you can already tell the acting, fighting and SFX is crap…. Big Bummer for JCVD to be in this..

  2. The CGI is not bad at all, the fights look really good has that Bourne feel to it, can get a feel of what a film this is about through this trailer, but can’t judge a whole film until its been seen.

  3. This looks cool! Always rooting for JCVD and now his gorgeous daughter is making moves in the industry. Good for them! Haters and negative ppl can go watch something else. Best wishes for JCVD and his family!

  4. Don’t know Pascal’s problem but he should keep his smart-ass remarks to him self!
This looks like another great film by the awesome film maker Dominic Burns, Looking forward to it’s release in Sweden!

  5. Looks cheap, like an episode of Eastenders. Bad acting and bad CGI. I’m guessing its going to be another B movie disaster by the terrible director Domonic Burns. Very amateur.

  6. Get a life Pascal – Alex, is your middle name “green” – support this young film director; support the British Film industry – if this film is as good as the trailer – I for one with my family will be watching for certain – fantastic effort, fantastic trailer and a fantastic cast by the looks of it! Ruddy good poster too!

  7. JCVD should have stop at Expendables 2. I cant understand how these films make money or even get funded. I’m guessing Ian, Nils and Gary are off the ufo production team because it looks far from good. I’m all for supporting the British Film Industry but not productions that make dribble like this.

  8. Low budget SciFi movies are tough to pull off, it’s always about how do you do more with less. This one has a District 9 feel to it but with more heart. Good trailer looking forward to the movie.

  9. Back again can’t get enough of the trailer praying for a quick release so i can buy 3 copies of the film.

  10. I read these comments before watching the trailer and I can’t believe the negativity from a couple of people. All I can think is that you auditioned for UFO and got turned away. The trailer looks INCREDIBLE!

If Dominic Burns is raising himself out of the UK indie film business with this kind of classy looking UK film, then fair play to him. Rather that than ANOTHER hooligan movie.

JCVD was the best thing in Expendables 2, can’t wait to see what he’s doing in this.

I’ll be there, 100%, looks extremely impressive and exciting stuff.

  11. This film look’s terrible. Having failed at every other genre of film why make a sic-fi? This sort of shit gives the Uk indie market a bad name. Not impressed. Cheap effects won’t hide bad acting and a poor script. Having watch a few of the directors previous films I would advise you guys to stay clear of this one.

  12. This film looks bollocks. UFOs and council estates just don’t work. Is this supposed to be ‘Independence Day’ set in Essex?

  13. Isn’t it funny how none of the comments below are from people with an actual profile? – I doubt anyone below is sincerely neutral and I’d hazard a guess ‘filmguy1980’ auditioned for UFO (I doubt he got the part).

Love the trailer or hate it, I can’t see how you can deny it’s an ambitious English project and surely such behavior should be applauded, no?

For the record I was exceedingly impressed and I’m happy to ‘reveal’ who I am to anyone who feels they’d like to validate my none bias point of view.

    Thanks,

    Jamie
