class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-36626″ title=”eve hewson” src=”https://www.heyuguys.com/images/2010/08/eve-hewson.jpg” alt=”” width=”220″ height=”150″ />Paolo Sorrentino’s Il Divo was a hit in 2008, picking up awards as it ran through the festival circuit, and there is much anticipation for his next film, This Must Be The Place.
Reuniting with his screenplay collaborator on the short film La partita lenta, Sorrentino and Umberto Contarello will tell the tale of an aging rock star who is obsessed with finding a Nazi criminal who tortured his father in a concentration camp.
So far we have Sean Penn as the rock star, with Frances McDormand signed up to play his wife. According to Variety a new name has been added to the cast list, that of Eve Hewson, who is to play a ‘gothic-punk music fan’ who befriends Penn’s character.
This will be Hewson’s biggest role so far and appearing with actors of the calibre of Penn and McDormand is a great step for this young actress. Big things expected from Bono’s daughter, we’ll keep an eye out.
