Eva Green Stars in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For TV Spot Deemed Too Sexy for TV

1

Later this month, we’ll be returning to the mean streets of Sin City in the sequel from director Robert Rodriguez and comic book writer/artist/co-director Frank Miller. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For follows a variety of characters, both from the original movie and several notable new cast members from the comic books.

One of those new cast members is beautiful Casino Royale star Eva Green, and after a poster featuring the scantily actress (who was recently seen in Penny Dreadful) has already been banned from US theatres, we now have a TV spot which was deemed too sexy to be shown on television in the United States.

There’s nothing too explicit here apart from a quick flash of nudity and some implied sex, but it’s not in the least bit unfair to say that Eva Green is one of the most compelling reasons to watch Sin City: A Dame to Kill For!

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For weaves together two of Frank Miller’s classic stories with new tales in which the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more repulsive inhabitants. In Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Dwight is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord, and then watches his life go straight to hell. Chronologically, this story takes place prior to “The Big Fat Kill” (featured in the film Frank Miller’s Sin City) and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face.

With an all-star cast which includes Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Powers Boothe, Rosario Dawson, Dennis Haysbert, Stacy Keach, Jamie King, Ray Liotta, and Jeremy Piven, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is set to be released on August 29th, 2014.

  1. Oh, enough with that bullshit, really. There’s really nothing explicit, Eva Green is just ridiculously sexy. Nothing wrong with that. And I couldn’t agree more that she is one of the most compelling reasons to watch “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For”. I really can’t wait to watch her tackling the evil qualities of the tremendous Ava Lord character. I’ve read all the “Sin City” series and the second album “A dame to kill for” ranks easily among the top three for me. Ava Lord is really the deadliest femme fatale ever to have walked the streets of Basin City.
