Following its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, A24 has released the official trailer for ‘Eternity,’ the latest film from writer/director David Freyne (Dating Amber). Blending tender emotion with imaginative world-building, Eternity offers a fresh and deeply human take on love, loss, and what comes after.
The film stars Miles Teller (Whiplash), Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision, His Three Daughters), and Callum Turner (Masters of the Air) in a heartfelt story that spans both life and the afterlife. They’re joined by John Early, Olga Merediz, and Academy Award® winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers), rounding out a stellar ensemble cast.
In an afterlife where souls have just one week to decide where to spend eternity, Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) finds herself torn between two great loves — the devoted husband she spent her life with (Miles Teller) and her first love (Callum Turner), who died young and has waited decades for her arrival. As she navigates this surreal in-between world, Joan must confront not just who she loves, but what it truly means to be happy forever.
