Edward Norton Gives us His Thoughts on Being Dropped as The Hulk in The Avengers Movie

I still think this entire story is completely ridiculous. What did Norton do wrong to get dropped from playing The Hulk in the new Avengers movie? You can see our previous posts on the unfolding saga here and here but in the meantime, Edward Norton has now released what you may call a statement with what he thinks on the matter.

The message is obviously well thought out but what surprises me is that he thanks Marvel for the chance to play The Hulk at all. Personally, I’d be livid (a bit like he looks in the image to the left!) but that’s me I guess!

The message has appeared on the official Edward Norton Facebook fanpage and is in the form of an image which I’ve embedded below and you can click to enlarge.

The latest news is that Joaquin Phoenix is tipped to replace him but we’ll bring you more on that if / as we get it.

Replacing him is a disgrace and the reasoning given by Kevin Feige is disgusting, personally id fire Feige immediately along with a host of others at Marvel Movies who have been making some horrible decisions with regards to the making of these flicks. Nortons Hulk is probably Marvels best movie to date, its the one that doesnt require re-making unlike some of the others. So to speak on his abilities to play the role is a disgrace especially given his movie is the closest one to flawless we have recieved. Im guessing theres been some management changes in the last 18 months and all I can say is the new guy/s are garbage.

Everyone knows that Norton is one of the biggest dicks in Hollywood. He has totally alienated himself from the industry and is hated by most. He got dumped because of his outrageous mood swings, ridiculously inflated ego, and total disrespect to every director he's ever worked with.

Goodness, Edward Norton is so gracious, a true professional. One of my all-time favourite actors because that is what he is, an actor, not a celebrity. Good for him, I didn't think he could but his response to this just put him even higher in my estimations.
