All this week Pottermore have been giving an eager public their first look at the cast of the new Harry Potter story, a theatrical two-parter which takes place almost two decades after the death of Voldermort in The Deathly Hallows.

A new Harry, Ron and Hermione have been revealed (as have their children) and you can see the images of Jamie Parker and Poppy Miller as Harry and Ginny Potter, and Paul Thornley and Noma Dumezweni are our new Granger-Weasleys alongside Cherrelle Skeete as their daughter Rose from the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Today it’s the turn of the Malfoys – old blondie Draco and his son Scorpius. To be honest calling your son Scorpius isn’t doing him any favours, however Malfoy Jr. doesn’t seem to mind any.

The play will arrive at The Palace Theatre in London next month, details of tickets and everything else can be found here.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

Here are the new photos of the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
