Peter Berg’s action-packed take on the real life events on the oil rig Deepwater Horizon enters UK cinemas on the 29th of September. Mark Wahlberg and co. were in town last night for the UK premiere of the film.
Wahlberg leads Deepwater Horizon as Mike Williams (who also attended the premiere) and is joined by Kurt Russell, John Malkovich, Gina Rodriguez, Dylan O’Brien and Kate Hudson.
The film explores the real life tragedy set on the offshore drilling rig Deepwater Horizon, which exploded during April 2010 and created the worst oil spill in U.S. history.
