The original novel was written by Susan and Pierre LaTour and tells the story of Catherine Lakey, a chemistry professor who vanishes while vacationing
in Cape Cod. Though her disappearance is assumed to be a suicide, her niece, Nancy, is unconvinced and begins to uncover clues in her aunt’s beach house that such a far more sinister fate.
Horn will probably be playing the niece, Nancy. Filming is set to begin in September in Cape Cop, Massachusetts.
