First Trailer for Dead Man Down with Colin Farrell & Noomi Rapace

Due out in March 2013, Dead Man Down marks the reunion of Niels Arden Oplev and Noomi Rapace following the original The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which has since put Rapace’s name on the map across the world.

The crime-thriller sees Rapace and Colin Farrell take the lead, and after getting our first look at Farrell back in May, a very promising first trailer has now found its way online.

“Dead Man Down stars Farrell as the right-hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City who is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice (Rapace), a crime victim seeking retribution. Their chemistry and intense relationship leads them to execute a violent and cathartic plan for revenge.”

Terrence Howard and Dominic Cooper star alongside Farrell and Rapace to make a fine leading cast, with Howard looking particularly brilliant in this first trailer below.

Oplev is directing from a script by J.H. Wyman (Fringe, The Mexican), with Wyman producing alongside Neal H. Moritz (Fast Five, I Am Legend).

Dead Man Down is set for release in the US on 8^th March, 2013. As of yet, we’ve got no word on a UK release date, but here’s to hoping that we’ll be seeing this in the spring as well, because it looks like it should be pretty awesome. For now, here’s the first trailer, and we’ll hopefully have a version in HD for you soon.
