CSI: Las Vegas is still the most watched TV programme in the world and it’s no wonder when you look at the awesome storylines they keep churning out. It’s amazing to think that it’s been going for such a long time but personally I still find it fresh and compelling viewing.

Season 10 is no different. It’s the first season where Gil Grissom (William Petersen) doesn’t appear but to my surprise however, his now wife, Sara Suidle  (Jorja Fox) is back for some more crime fighting action while Grissom apparently attends various bug conferences around the world. She comes into replace Riley Adams (Lauren Lee Smith) who left at the end of the last season. Laurence Fishburne is back as Dr. Raymond Langston alongside those we’ve come accustomed to, Marg Helgenberger, Paul Guilfoyle, George Eads, Eric Szmanda and Robert David Hall as Dr. Al Robbins.

I think what keeps me coming back to CSI are the storylines. You think they would find it hard to keep coming up with new and original storylines for a series which has now been going for 252 episodes (including season 11) but every episode is completely different to the last. It’s also completely ridiculous that even though they’re  not cops, they do all the investigation but you simply don’t care.

The series merges clever CG, good acting, a great locations and fantastic storylines which are often completely stupid and unrealistic but you forget that fact and immerse yourself in the programme. I’ve been known to watch four episodes back to back just because I’ve enjoyed them so much!

CSI Season 10 is awesome, I love it just as much as I’ve loved the previous 9 seasons and as long as the storylines keep on coming, I see now reason why it won’t keep going for an awful lot longer.
