From the bottom of the ocean to the top of the world of del Toro we get a better look today at the director’s latest film, the haunting Crimson Peak.
Sandwiched between the dalliances with the Kaiju del Toro is returning to more familiar territory with this tale of a love match in a stone cold fairytale climate. Tom Hiddlestone and Mia Wasikowska are our love birds headed for the Hiddles’ family home wherein a Rebecca-esque homecoming awaits.
Joining the two leads are ‘Rimmer’ Charlie Hunnam and Jessica Chastain, which makes for a fine cast but undoubtedly the star here will be del Toro’s fecund imagination. We can’t wait.
