Could a Toy Story 4 Movie Be Possible?

I think the answer to that question is probably no. When I spoke to the director and Producer of Toy Story 3, Lee Unkrich and Darla K. Anderson, they seemed pretty sure that what they had made would round up the franchise (you can see my video interview with them on Monday when TS3 is released in UK cinemas – that’s right America, we STILL haven’t got it!!). That said, they never said never! And we’ve already heard that a Toy Story short is going to sit in front of Cars 2 when it’s released summer 2011so maybe if the right story came along, we could have another.

So why am I talking about a fourth Toy Story movie? Well, The Wrap have learned that Tim Allen actually has it in his contract to make a fourth installment should the movie come along. But they do stress that this doesn’t mean that another will actually be made! They do mention that Tom Hanks was quoted to say “Bring it on” when asked about a fourth movie at the Los Angeles Premiere of the movie which seems like ages ago now.

  1. A fourth film would be a bad idea. They need to end it on a high and not risk ruining the reputation of the series.
    I totally agree with you. Having seen the film twice as well, it's ending is both poignant, funny and fitting.
    It'd be too much of a risk to make another full-length film.

  7. Please, please make a sequel! After watching the third movie, I've realized that the characters in Toy Story are truly golden. It's the best cast in all of film right now and extends that personal touch to all its viewers too.

    Although it ended well, I think it'd be well worth the risk to make a sequel. They experimented with the film (in the sense it was different than #2), in the sense that they made little jokes that made things more personal.

    Also, it was really fun to see the characters in different locales (especially the bar/casino – like area atop the vending machine). It'll be great so see these characters react to some of the things that exist in real life! In that sense, it won't really be a sequel, but more of an “updated” story.

  8. they need to make a fourth one i mean because the third just ends with lotso on the grill of a truck which i think screams sequel and because tim allen is gonna be dissapointed and he might do something stupid then tabloids would make something up to ruin his carrer then all his fans would start a riot on you
