We’ve always known Colin Farrell was a charmer – and that was confirmed when we sat down with him to speak about his latest feature, The Lobster. However in that movie, he’s playing a role that’s anything but charismatic.
He plays David, a single man, who lives in a surrealistic, almost dystopian future, whereby those without a partner are given a short period of time to find love, or else they have to be transformed into an animal of their choice. We asked Farrell about filming back in Ireland, living with John C. Reilly – and on his next endeavour, the J.K. Rowling written, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The Lobster is released on October 16th.
