‘Avengers’ co-stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are to once again team up for Jason Bateman’s ‘Project Artemis.’

‘Ozarks’ Bateman is onboard to direct and exec produce the feature which Apple – after numerous awards success – obtained the project for the in-demand package in a $100M+.

Plot details are being kept under wraps but rumours suggest that the project is set against the space race. The screenplay comes from Rose Gilroy, daughter of writer-director Dan Gilroy and actress René Russo.

Johansson will also produce alongside Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn through their These Pictures production company, which commissioned and developed the script. Bateman will produce via his Aggregate Films banner.

Evans and Johansson were to team up on Apple’s ‘Ghosted’ but Johansson had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. Johansson is also teaming with Apple on the project ‘Bride.’

Evans next feature will be the ‘Toy Story’ spin-off animation ‘Lightyear’ which he voices the titular Buzz Lightyear.
