A couple of interesting names (one well-known, another a newcomer) have been mentioned as potential co-stars in Clint Eastwood’s upcoming biopic of FBI founder J. Edgar Hoover.

Vulture have Charlize Theron down for the part of Helen Gandy, a Justice Department file clerk who became Hoover’s PA at the young age of 21 and ended up in his employment for over 54 years! It hasn’t been confirmed yet if Theron will play the character throughout that timeline, but judging by her chameleon-like ability to inhabit a role like real-life serial killer Aileen Wuornos in Monster, it wouldn’t be surprising if Eastwood has that in mind.

There’s also a report from EW which claims that Armie Hammer (fantastic as both Winklevoss twins in The Social Network) is another actor in negotiations to join the film.

If cast, both will join Leonardo DiCaprio (who is playing the title character, of course) in a script by the Oscar-winning writer of Milk, Dustin Lance Black.
