According to The Hollywood Reporter, Casey Affleck (The Killer Inside Me) is in negotiations to feature in the romantic comedy, F-Word. The film, set to be directed by Alex Holdridge (In Search of a Midnight Kiss), will be based on T.J. Dawe and Michael Rinaldi’s play Cigars and Toothpaste.
Synopsis: A story of a young man and woman who struggle to navigate their friendship, which has developed a deep romantic undercurrent.
Elan Mastai has wrote the script, while Mr. Mudd Productions, NHO Entertainment and Sleep Noir will co-produce the film. Fox Searchlight will distribute. The film is likely to shoot towards the end of this year, with a release likely for 2011.
