Yet this serving of Resident Evil in Corsets is almost upon us and there’s a new TV spot and poster out which emboldeneds the view that Anderson and Co. are hoping for a Sherlock Holmes style reinvention of a literary classic.
Anyhoo, this may very well be the best adaptation of the tale ever, still – it’s no Dogtanian.

Well I’ve seen it and though Milla plays a substantial part it’s not really her movie. The trailer put too much emphasis on her. Waltz is superb as Cardinal Richelieu, the Musketeers are well cast and Gabriella Wilde (Constance) is probably one of the most attractive young ladies to grace the silver screen these days will likely rise to fame after this. Don’t expect a big artsy drama, yet it’s not as Resident Evilish as one might expect. I had good fun watching it, and it should generate reasonable b.o. numbers.
