From the 2017 Toronto Film Festival we present highlights from the press conference for Breathe directed by Andy Serkis, and written by William Nicholson.

The film stars Diana Rigg, Claire Foy, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Hollander. Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville appears as Teddy Hall, the inventor and Oxford University professor who helped Cavendish develop a wheelchair with a built-in respirator to aid Cavendish’s movements and release him from his confinement to a bed, and Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman as Robin and Diane’s son Jonathan.

The film is released in the US on the 13th of October, and the 27th of October in the UK.

Here’s the official synopsis:

After contracting polio at the age of 28, Robin Cavendish is confined to a bed and given only months to live. With help from his family and inventor Teddy Hall, Cavendish devotes the rest of his life to help fellow patients and the disabled.

Breathe opens in UK cinemas on October 27th
