Brand New Poster for The Sorcerer’s Apprentice 3/5

Every day this week, Disney have been releasing a new poster from their latest movie collaboration with Jerry Bruckheimer, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice which stars Nicolas Cage, Alfred Molina, Monica Bellucci, Teresa Palmer, Jay Baruchel and is helmed by National Treasure director,  Jon Turteltaub. The first poster was for ‘The Wizard’ played by Gregory Woo, the second for the Villain played by Alred Molina and today we get to see the third for The Sorceress, Veronika played by Monica Bellucci.

Character Description:

VERONICA (Monica Bellucci) is a sorcerer who has had the great fortune of being loved by Balthazar Blake—and the misfortune of being loved by Maxim Horvath.  “Balthazar and Veronica are willing to do everything for their love,” says Bellucci, “and at the same time they’re two fighters.  Horvath, who, like them, was a disciple of Merlin, also falls in love with Veronica.  She rejects him for Balthazar, and because of that he betrays them by aligning himself with Morgana.  It’s a beautiful and powerful story about love, jealousy and vengeance.”

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is released in the UK 11th August.
