Man of the moment Bradley Cooper, or ‘Face’ as he may now be known, has signed onto an as yet untitled Disney comedy-drama about a man who gets injured playing baseball and from what we gather, the movies sees him getting fit again.
THR have broken the news that the movie will have similar themes to Scent of a Woman and The Rookie which starred Dennis Quaid.
The dramedy centers on a baseball player who gets injured and has to go back to the minors where the only place he can find lodging is in a senior citizens’ home. There, he meets an old baseball guru who helps lead him back.
I guess ‘Dramady’ is a new word that I hope dies a death pretty soon!
The movie doesn’t have a release date as yet but no doubt we’ll be bringing you that information in due course. Cooper’s new movie. The A-Team is released in the UK July 28th and then it’ll be time for The Hangover 2 which we can expect next year.
