Here a brand new look at the Allied, the new movie directed by the wonderful Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Castaway, Flight, Forrest Gump – the list goes on) with screenwriting duties falling to the equally wonderful Steven Knight (Amazing Grace, Locke). The film has a fantastic cast including Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard, Lizzy Caplan, Matthew Goode, Raffey Cassidy (who you may have seen in Tomorrowland) and Jared Harris.
Allied tells the story of an intelligence officer Max Vatan (Brad Pitt), who in 1942 North Africa encounters French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard) on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Reunited in London, their relationship is threatened by the extreme pressures of the war.
IMDb is reporting a release of November 25th in the UK although this hasnt been confirmed as yet.
