the dudeThe fantastic friend of quality films that is the Genesis Cinema in Whitechapel has brought to our attention that they are again showing some classic films and hosting some brilliant sounding events in the coming month due to the success of their excellent 80’s film series back in October and it’s all starting off with the special screening of the classic Coen Brothers film “˜The Big Lebowski’.

Big Lebowski is a phenomenal film and my favourite film of all time, it’s also created one of the biggest cult followings spawning the Lebowski-Fest Festivals which celebrates all things Lebowski and also the creation of the religion of Dudeism.

This film should not be missed on the big screen as it may change your life!

So get down to the Genesis Cinema, 93-95 Mile End Road, Whitechapel on the 10th December at 8:30pm to witness this film and if you dress as the Dude you get a 2-4-1 cocktail voucher with the best outfit winning an iPod Shuffle, Far out man.

An excellent selection of horror movies lined up then with Zombieland, Shaun of the Dead, Paranormal Activity, Drag me to Hell and 28 Days Later the stand out movies and with live music, comedy and other weird and wonderful performances it’s something that sounds a great original New Years Eve party.
