The poster follows on from the 23-second promotional trailer that was released last November in the hope of created some buzz.
Beastly, hoping to capitalise on Twi-Hards desperate for a supernatural fix in between Twilight instalments, is a modern re-telling of the classic fairytale, Beauty and the Beast.
The film has been directed by Daniel Barnz, and stars Vanessa Hudgens, Neil Patrick Harris, Alex Pettyfer, Mary-Kate Olsen, Lisa Gay and Peter Krause.

I agree that the old poster was better than the new one. However, the “23 second trailer” is close to a year old and was just put out to go before New Moon. There's a new, much longer trailer which has been available for months (not very good research here) which is much better. Like, check out YouTube.
