After the overwhelmingly positive buzz which has come from those recent Justice League set visits, it looks like the tide may be in the process of turning for the DC Films Universe.

Long before that superhero ensemble reaches the big screen next November and Suicide Squad is released in August, the “Ultimate Edition” of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit Blu-ray next month. That’s set to include not only a wealth of special features, but also 30 minutes of extra footage which many have already said essentially saves the film.

We get a taste of that in the new trailer below, and the new snippets of footage we see here really do look great. This R-Rated extended version of Batman v Superman leaked online very briefly, and without spoiling anything, it sounds like we’ll see much more of both the Man of Steel and Caped Crusader in action, as well as a lot of abandoned plot threads.

Stay tuned for more on that as we get closer to release, but check out the trailer below.
