Proudly promoted as coming from the minds behind The Hangover Bad Moms hopes to snatch the baton from the Bridesmaids in the race to be the next big female-centred R-rated comedy.
The set up is the typical stuff of wish fulfillment – Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell are underappreciated mothers, fighting the cliques and the agenda-soaked judgement that comes with parenthood, and find kindred spirits to break out and find new ground of hedonism.
The two trailers below give a fine idea about what’s in store but for my money Kathryn Hahn’s the secret weapon here – she’s great in everything she’s been in and Bad Moms looks set to soar thanks to her.

Amy has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn and her clique of devoted perfect moms.
