Apatow will both write and direct the feature, following in the footsteps of his other films for Universal: 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up and Funny People.
In the meantime, Apatow will produce David Wain’s upcoming comedy Wanderlust, set to star Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, Justin Theroux, Malin Akerman and Lauren Ambrose.
Wanderlust will be released on October 7, 2011.
