Amber Heard, the actress who made an impression as “406” in Zombieland, has landed the lead female role in Relativity Media’s Paranoia.

Heard will star opposite Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games), Gary Oldman (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Harrison Ford (Morning Glory), Lucas Till (X-Men: First Class) and Embeth Davidtz (Junebug) in the dramatic thriller.

The film, to be directed by Robert Luketic from a screenplay by Jason Hall and Barry Levy, centers on a boss who blackmails one of his younger employees to spy on the head of a rival company.

With production set to commence later this year, Paranoia will likely arrive in cinemas towards the end of 2013.

Heard will next be seen in Robert Rodriguez’ currently in-production Machete Kills.
