All die-hard Ridley Scott and Alien fans rejoice you only have to wait just over a month before Alien: Covenant hits the stores on August 15th and you’re in for a Xenomorph treat with the different versions that will be available and extra features included.

As well as all the five featurettes that are readily available on YouTube such as Meet Walter, Phobos, The Last Supper, The Crossing and Advent, an hour-long Ridley Scott Masterclass, David’s illustrations from his time on Paradise, All theatrical trailers for the film, an audio commentary from Ridley Scott and the cream that tops it off: an additional 12 deleted and extended scenes which covers an extra 18 minutes of previously unseen footage from the latest in the Alien saga.

The film will be available to buy as a DVD, Blu-ray and steelbook all coming with their own special features. The DVD will be your bog standard offering while the Blu-ray Steelbook comes with an alternative cover featuring an infant Neomorph – see the image below.

There will also be a limited edition Blu-ray – a must for any fan – which will include a booklet of various imagery and artwork from the film – see image below.

At present, there doesn’t seem to be any word on a director’s cut or a behind the scenes making of documentary that came with the release of Prometheus.
