Which leads us to this little video. The fun of fan questions is that they’re often unpredictable, aggressive and über-geeky, and sometimes they get an equally aggressive response. This one certainly did, as writer Alex garland even acknowledges in his answer.

I was at the LFCC panel and the clip from Dredd was superb!
Karl Urban was a lovely guy and is going to be the definitive Dredd.
Alex Garland spoke to fans after the panel and was also a top bloke and obviously has immense passion for the projec andt gets what makes Judge Dredd such an iconic character.
The film is going to be brilliant!
