LFF 2014: Premiere Interviews – Alan Rickman’s A Little Chaos

Alan Rickman is great. That's why we present our interviews from the LFF premiere of his latest film A Little Chaos.

It has been a very long seventeen years since Alan Rickman stepped behind the camera (his 1997 film The Winter Guest is a bleak but engrossing film with Emma Thompson and Phyllida Law which is worth digging up), but with A Little Chaos he makes a triumphant return.

Centering around the introduction of a young landscape gardener to the soon-to-be grand palace of Versailles, Rickman’s film plays the personal and the politique against one another in the court of King Louis XIV. Rickman is the king, Kate Winslet the fledgling gardener with Helen McCrory, Stanley Tucci and the ever wonderful Jennifer Ehle so there’s a cast to knock your socks off.

Cassam Looch and Colin Hart draped themselves resplendently on the red carpet for this evening’s London Film Festival premiere.
