In the aftermath the Chitauri wreaked onNew York Cityin The Avengers comes Item 47, the third of Marvel’s great new One-Shot series of shorts.
We got our first look at Lizzy Caplan and the first clip from the short last week, followed by the fantastic first poster as they took it to Comic-Con, where they screened it to very positive reviews.
The studio have now released a great new clip, introducing us to the Bonnie and Clyde-esque characters, Benny (Jesse Bradford) and Claire (Caplan).
“S.H.I.E.L.D. recovered all but one… a Chitauri weapon, aka “ITEM 47.” After a young couple, Benny (Jesse Bradford) and Claire (Lizzy Caplan), stumble into finding the elusive weapon, they embark on a bank robbing spree. With S.H.I.E.L.D. agents (LOST’s Titus Welliver and AVENGERS’s Maximiliano Hernandez) hot on their trail, it’s only a matter of time before the couple have to pay for their crimes.”
This comes right off the back of Marvel’s official announcement at the convention that their 2013/14 slate will begin Phase Two with Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Solider, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Item 47 will be released with The Avengers on Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D on 17th September here in the UK, which will hit US shelves slightly later on 25th September. You just know this is going to be so much fun.
